Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Juice from 1/2 lime
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Add the mayo, BBQ sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, lime juice, and paprika to a medium mixing bowl. Make sure all ingredients are measured evenly for a smooth and balanced flavor.
- Whisk everything together thoroughly until the sauce becomes smooth, creamy, and fully combined. The color should turn into a rich orange-brown with no streaks remaining.
- Taste the sauce and adjust as needed, adding more honey for sweetness or extra BBQ sauce for a smokier flavor. If you prefer more tang, add an extra squeeze of lime juice.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving. This helps the flavors blend together and slightly thickens the sauce.
- Serve chilled with chicken tenders, fries, burgers, wraps, or sandwiches. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
