Ingredients

CHOPPED FILLING

  • 2.5 cups chopped lettuce
  • 6 slices turkey
  • 6 slices capicola
  • 6 slices mortadella
  • 6 slices salami
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 6 slices tomato
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1 large spoonful hot hoagie spread
  • 2/3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2/3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

BREAD

  • 1 pack King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • Garlic butter, for brushing

Instructions

  • Add the lettuce, turkey, capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, and tomato to a large cutting board. Using a sharp knife, chop everything together until evenly mixed and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Spoon the mayo, hot hoagie spread, olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper directly onto the chopped mixture. Continue chopping and folding until everything is well coated and reaches your preferred texture.
  • Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops connected. Brush the cut sides generously with garlic butter.
  • Heat a griddle or cast iron pan over medium high heat and place the rolls cut-side down. Toast for 2–3 minutes until golden brown and lightly crisp.
  • Remove the rolls from the heat and generously spoon the chopped mixture onto the bottom half, spreading it evenly from edge to edge.
  • Place the top buns back on, gently press to set, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
