Ingredients

SLIDERS

  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
  • 1 lb sliced deli turkey
  • 8 oz Havarti cheese, sliced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups arugula
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

AVOCADO MAYO

  • 1 egg
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup avocado oil
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Add the egg, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard to a tall container. While blending with an immersion blender, slowly drizzle in the avocado oil until a thick homemade mayonnaise forms, then add the avocado, honey, and salt and blend again until completely smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Preheat a griddle, skillet, or oven to medium heat. Slice the King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected, then lightly toast both cut sides until golden and lightly crisp.
  • In a small bowl, toss the arugula with the olive oil and red wine vinegar until lightly coated. This adds freshness and a subtle tang that balances the richness of the sliders.
  • Spread a generous layer of the avocado mayo over the toasted bottom half of the rolls. Layer on the sliced turkey, Havarti cheese, crispy bacon, tomato slices, and the dressed arugula, making sure the ingredients are evenly distributed across the rolls.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on and gently press everything together. Slice into individual sliders using a sharp serrated knife, cutting along the natural seams of the rolls.
  • Serve immediately or place the sliders back into the original cardboard tray and slide them into the packaging sleeve for easy transport. They’re perfect served fresh or packed for tailgates, picnics, lunches, or road trips.
