Bacon & Cheese Pancake Donuts
Ingredients
PANCAKE DONUTS
- 2 cups pancake batter prepared according to package directions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbles
FOR SERVING
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and lightly grease a donut pan with nonstick spray or butter to prevent sticking. Prepare the pancake batter according to the package directions until smooth and fully combined.
- Carefully spoon or pour the pancake batter into each donut cavity, filling them about three-quarters full so they have room to rise while baking.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and bacon crumbles evenly over the top of each donut. Gently press the toppings into the batter so they stick while baking.
- Place the donut pan in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and cooked through in the center.
- Remove the pan from the oven and allow the donuts to cool for 3–5 minutes before carefully lifting them out of the pan.
- Serve the bacon and cheese pancake donuts warm with maple syrup for dipping or drizzling over the top.
