PANCAKE DONUTS
- 2 cups pancake batter prepared according to package directions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbles
Preheat your oven to 400°F and lightly grease a donut pan with nonstick spray or butter to prevent sticking. Prepare the pancake batter according to the package directions until smooth and fully combined.
Carefully spoon or pour the pancake batter into each donut cavity, filling them about three-quarters full so they have room to rise while baking.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and bacon crumbles evenly over the top of each donut. Gently press the toppings into the batter so they stick while baking.
Place the donut pan in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and cooked through in the center.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow the donuts to cool for 3–5 minutes before carefully lifting them out of the pan.
