HOAGIE DIP
- 2 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
- 6 slices turkey
- 6 slices capicola
- 6 slices mortadella
- 6 slices salami
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 tomato sliced
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp hot hoagie spread
- 2/3 tbsp olive oil
- 2/3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
On a large cutting board, pile the shredded lettuce, turkey, capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, and diced tomato together. Using a sharp knife, begin chopping everything into small, even pieces until the mixture resembles a coarse, deli-style chop.
Once the meats and lettuce are roughly chopped, drizzle the mayonnaise, hot hoagie spread, olive oil, and red wine vinegar evenly over the top. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Continue chopping and folding the mixture together for 2–3 minutes until everything is evenly coated and combined to your desired texture. The dip should be well mixed but still have some bite and structure.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding a little more vinegar for tang or mayo for creaminess.
Chill for 15–20 minutes if time allows to let the flavors meld together. Serve immediately with assorted crackers for scooping and enjoy every bold, savory bite.
