CINNAMON ROLL BITES
- 1 package King's Hawaiian Original Rolls
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
ICING
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking sheet or baking dish. Slice the sweet rolls horizontally in half while keeping the tops and bottoms connected.
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until smooth and evenly mixed. The mixture should resemble a thick cinnamon butter spread.
Spread half of the cinnamon butter mixture evenly across the inside of the rolls, then place the top buns back on. Spread the remaining cinnamon butter over the tops of the rolls.
Place the rolls into the oven and bake for about 12 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cinnamon mixture becomes bubbly and caramelized around the edges.
While the rolls bake, prepare the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Adjust with a splash of milk if needed for a thinner consistency.
Remove the cinnamon roll bites from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before pulling them apart. Dunk or drizzle each bite with the icing while still warm and serve immediately.
