Classic Homemade Ranch Dressing
Ingredients
RANCH DRESSING
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tsp fresh dill, finely chopped
- 2 tsp fresh chives, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Add the mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk to a mixing bowl and whisk until completely smooth and well combined.
- Stir in the parsley, dill, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper mixing until the herbs are evenly distributed.
- Add the lemon juice a little at a time, tasting as you go, until the ranch has a bright and balanced flavor.
- Adjust the consistency by whisking in additional buttermilk if you prefer a thinner, more pourable dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and deepen.
- Give it a final stir before serving, then use as a dip, salad dressing, or sauce for burgers and wraps.
