Ingredients

PIGS IN A BLANKET

  • 12 breakfast sausage links
  • 1 can crescent roll dough

FRENCH TOAST BATTER

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

CINNAMON SUGAR BUTTER

  • 2-3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1-2 tbsp cinnamon sugar

FOR SERVING

  • Maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cook the sausage links in a skillet over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and lightly browned.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place one cooked sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly toward the tip to form pigs in a blanket.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and fully combined. This mixture will give the rolls their signature French toast flavor.
  • Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet and brush each one generously with the French toast batter. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crescent rolls are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • While the rolls are still warm, mix melted butter with cinnamon sugar and brush it evenly over the tops. This adds a sweet, buttery finish and extra flavor.
  • Serve immediately with warm maple syrup for dipping or drizzling. Enjoy these sweet and savory bites while they’re hot and flaky.
